Signs that you’re facing a termite infestation include:
- Mud tubes that run from the ground up your foundation or along your walls. Termites build these tubes so they can move around and carry food back to their underground colonies.
- Swarms of termites that appear after a spring rainstorm. Western subterranean termites, the kind found in Washington, swarm during mating season.
- Piles of insect wings that are visible on the ground in areas near window sills also indicate termites might be present.
What Should You Do
